Robert M. Wright

Robert M. Wright is founder and principal of Marketing Arts, Inc. Bob has over 20 years of experience in the technology business and has been at the vanguard of innovative Launch and Positioning methods for the industry. Bob helps unblock critical marketing strategy problems and specializes in the creation of break-away positioning and launch strategies. Bob has launched and positioned over 100 companies and worked with many of the industry leading companies including Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Mercury and Symantec as well and many new category creators, Top Tier, WebEx, Taleo and Workday.

Bob is a graduate of Indiana University and sits on several advisory and non-profit board of directors.

Carl Tsukahara

Carl Tsukahara is a principal of Marketing Arts. Throughout his career in Silicon Valley, Carl has uniquely combined strong technology domain expertise, tactical and executive roles in Marketing, Strategy and Product Operations, and on the ground experience as a sales executive, sales manager and software developer. He has held multiple senior management roles, including the initial Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Vitria Technology, category creator for Enterprise Application Integration, Head of Product Marketing for Oracle’s Database Operation, and Head of Field Marketing for Oracle’s Americas Operation. Carl has also served as CMO for 6 other companies, in both staff and interim roles. Carl has lead Marketing Arts engagements at companies such as WebEx, Verity, Microsoft, D&B, Mercury and Right Now.

He holds a BS degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Chris Roon

Chris joined Marketing Arts after 26 years holding sales and marketing operating roles in enterprise software, professional services, social networking and early SaaS companies. Chris has taken new products and companies to market in 23 countries during his career and also managed sales and service teams in Europe and Asia. Prior employers include 4 startups, one venture firm, and 5 public companies including ASK, Oracle, PeopleSoft, and Salesforce. Back in the day, Chris pursued geology in college and got an MBA at Dartmouth.
